Josiah + Bethany | Pyramid Hill Ohio Photographer

The hardest part about this blog post was coming up with the right words to display how special these two are to me. I shared a little bit on their engagement post but here we go…

Bethany is a beautiful, smart, talented, creative and determined woman. She loves Jesus with all her heart and has done some incredible things for Him already at the age of 20. Ever since she was a very little girl, she has been an amazing giver. She started buying our whole (large) family Christmas gifts with her own money when she was in elementary school. She travelled for 9 months with The World Race to tell others about Jesus. And she has worked tirelessly for the last year volunteering with a women’s ministry in Cincinnati while running a coffee shop that donated funds to help women in sex trafficking. What I’m trying to say is, she is beautiful inside and out. She’s one of the most selfless people I know. I look up to her. She inspires me to be more like Jesus.

Josiah is funny, kind, so intelligent and a deep feeler. He has a passion for Christ that is so beautiful and bold. He stops in the grocery to share the Gospel with anyone who will listen. Josiah leans on Christ to be his strength when things are hard. He works hard and loves people deeply. He also has a heart for missions and has gone to many countries to spread tell people about the love of Jesus.

Together, these two are going to be unstoppable. I can honestly say I can’t begin to image how they are going to change the world. I love you both so much!

Nick + Sydney | Cincinnati Rainy Engagement Session

Sydney said to me in the middle of this session, “How does everyone look so perfect in these? We’re so awkward!” WUT?? You are not only gorgeous (hello legs for days) but you guys totally rocked this rainy, overcast day like there’s no tomorrow. Nick + Sydney are totally adorable together, add in their daughter Riley and you’ve basically got the cutest family on earth. I cannot wait for your wedding next year, it’s going to be STUNNING!!

Zach + Katelin | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer | The Manor House

Zach + Katelin may seem a little shy when you first meet them but just you wait until they cut loose on the dance floor! This beautiful wedding was unique (HELLO geodes + traditional German dances) and so lovely. We had so much fun hanging out with all of you, thank you again for trusting us to capture all the hard work and love you poured into your big day.

Nick + Stef | Cincinnati Engagement Photographer Roebling Bridge

What did I tell you last week about my 2019 couples? ADORABLE!! We had so much fun downtown Cincinnati last week… running out into traffic and dancing in front of random restaurants. Nick + Stef were down for anything, even laying in grass with tons of people walking by telling them how cute they were. Cincinnati is always good for that! If you’re ever in need of encouragement just dress up and take a photographer with you in OTR, people will infallibly stop to tell you how awesome you look! Our city is the greatest and so are these two. I’m so excited to hang out with you guys again and capture your beautiful wedding next October.

Tyler + Maggie | Cincinnati Engagement Photographer | Alms Park

Couples like Tyler + Maggie are why I’m SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED for my 2019 weddings. I’m telling you it’s going to be an epic year. They trudged through waist high ivy, endured about a million mosquito bites, and didn’t mind getting soaked for these photos. Literally down for anything! And we laughed so much! I adore my job and getting to meet new people all of the time. I can’t wait to party with you guys next year on your BIG DAY!

Joseph + Sarah | Cincinnati Zoo Wedding Photographer

This. Wedding.

It was incredible! I was SO excited when Joseph + Sarah contacted me and told me they were getting married at The Cincinnati Zoo! WHAAAATTTT? The zoo staff was incredible! The planner, Mollie Luken was organized and every single person I came in contact with was kind and so helpful. Can we also just side note: the food was so beautiful and delicious! YUM! They also brought out animals during cocktail hour, how cool is that?

Now, lets talk about the bride and groom. Sarah made me laugh all day long (see the reception photo of her using Joseph’s arm as a guitar.. like that). And Joseph is a perfect match for her, he is calm and down to earth. This day was absolutely perfect and so much stinking fun. Congratulations, you two, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day.

Tyler + Ashley | Rhinegeist Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

WARNING: OVER-BLOGGING IN PROGRESS

Yeaahhhhh, I tried really hard to narrow this down to fewer images but it’s SO HARD when you have a day as beautiful as this one. When my husband and I were youth pastors Ashley was in our youth group. Ashley was one of the only kids we were privileged to have in the youth group for all 6 years. She has always been hilarious, hard-working, and caring. I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding & my husband to officiate. (heyyy hottie husband).

We love you guys so much! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day.

Josiah + Bethany | Cincinnati Engagement Photographer

There are a lot of words to be said here. I want to save some of my extreme sentiment for the wedding blog post but here’s what you should know: Bethany is my niece. My oldest niece. I was 13 when she was born so I was prime babysitting age for her and her brother. They even lived with us for a little while when I was a teenager. Basically it boils down to this: we’re close. I feel incredibly protective of her so when she told me she was going to marry Josiah I wasn’t ready for it. (She’s 2 years older than I was when I got married, she was ready… I just wasn’t). But then this boy started coming around and the more I’ve gotten to know him, the more I love him. I’m excited to capture your wedding day but even more excited to do life beside you guys and see where Jesus takes you.

Ps. Stop being the cutest humans on the planet. Enough, already!
