Maxwell James | Cincinnati Newborn Photographer

These two parents have great taste is kid’s names. It’s so funny, all four of the names they chose for their boys (Graham Henry + Max James) are in my family! Their Max is a Maxwell and mine is a Maximus, but it still counts. I’ve been photographing them since Graham was 6 months old & I absolutely love him. He’s so funny, and spunky, and wild! I can’t wait to see if Max will have a similar personality or be more laid back. Thanks for inviting me into your home, it was so great to see you all again!

Tyler Lee | Cincinnati Birth Photographer | UC West Chester

Births are amazing. I am honestly never more honored than when a family trusts me to be involved in this; one of the most intimate, beautiful, and life-changing moments. Anna was such a sweet, joyful, and strong mama and Brian was an incredible supporter. Tyler’s birth was so peaceful and beautiful, I would be ecstatic to photograph 100 more just like it. Congratulations, you two. Tyler is perfect + so loved already.

Zach + Jenesis | Cincinnati Family Photographer

A little over a year ago I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended a gathering of Cincinnati creatives through The Rising Tide. I’m so incredibly glad I did. That night I met so many talented and beautiful people. One of them was Jenesis. She is the artist behind Pied Paper Goods and she’s one of the kindest humans I’ve met. Zach, Jenesis, and a few other friends also opened up an AMAZING coffee shop in my neighborhood last year called Brick Coffee. (Go check it out, it’s seriously YUM!). Just to round off all the things on their plate; he’s a teacher, she’s a nanny and a worship pastor. Seriously guys, way to make us all seem totally lazy. And if you talk to either one of them they are willing to sacrifice what little time they have left to love on other people. Thank you both for being a great example of the sacrificial love of Christ. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Hugo + Michelle + Lucy | Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

People sometimes ask me if I’m sad that my husband and I are done having babies. My response is, “No way! I get to cuddle them all the time without having to stay up all night.” Serious job perks! This sweet little squish also shares a name with my oldest which makes her even more special to me. I ADORE in home newborn sessions. They’re comfortable, sweet, and relaxed. Thank you, Hugo + Michelle for inviting me into your home and letting me cuddle your beautiful new babe.

Dan + Kayla + William | Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Kayla, I’m sorry for making you cry several times this week, I can’t promise it won’t happen again right now. William is such a sweet, happy little guy. He stayed awake nearly our whole session and didn’t cry once. I am looking forward to watching him grow and seeing the ways his little life brings glory to God. Love you guys so much!

Aaron + Amanda + Rowan | Cincinnati Family Photographer

One of the really cool job perks of being a family photographer is watching babies grow into toddlers and, eventually, into big kids. It’s such a privilege when families come back to me and trust me again and again with capturing these milestones. I can’t believe it has already been a year since Rowan’s newborn session, time just keeps speeding up on me.

Aubrey + Jaxson | Cincinnati Family Photography

I love these babies so much. I’ve said it a hundred times but HOLY PHOTOGENIC! These two have the prettiest eyeballs and Aubrey has been working the camera since she was a wee babe. Seriously, they need to stop growing up, it’s insane.

Oliver’s Last Chemo | Cincinnati Family Photographer

In November of last year Oliver was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. Many would call this every parent’s nightmare. I watched as Richie and Suzi dealt through a whole range of emotions and settled on determination. They were determined not to let this break them. Determined to fight with their son. Determined to stand up and be a voice for childhood cancer. Most of all, determined that, NO MATTER WHAT, God would be glorified through their son and through their journey. They have been an incredible testament of faith and hope to me. There is no where I would have rather been last Saturday than at Children’s documenting Oliver’s last round of chemo.

This boy. He’s so sweet and friendly to everyone he meets. As you can tell, chemo doesn’t keep him down for long. We ran the hallways and laughed a lot at this silly guy. If you want to follow along his journey head over to their Facebook page and give them a follow.
