Zach + Jenesis | Cincinnati Family Photographer

A little over a year ago I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended a gathering of Cincinnati creatives through The Rising Tide. I’m so incredibly glad I did. That night I met so many talented and beautiful people. One of them was Jenesis. She is the artist behind Pied Paper Goods and she’s one of the kindest humans I’ve met. Zach, Jenesis, and a few other friendsĀ also opened up an AMAZING coffee shop in my neighborhood last year called Brick Coffee. (Go check it out, it’s seriously YUM!). Just to round off all the things on their plate; he’s a teacher, she’s a nanny and a worship pastor. Seriously guys, way to make us all seem totally lazy. And if you talk to either one of them they are willing to sacrifice what little time they have left to love on other people. Thank you both for being a great example of the sacrificial love of Christ. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Hugo + Michelle + Lucy | Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

People sometimes ask me if I’m sad that my husband and I are done having babies. My response is, “No way! I get to cuddle them all the time without having to stay up all night.” Serious job perks! This sweet little squish also shares a name with my oldest which makes her even more special to me. I ADORE in home newborn sessions. They’re comfortable, sweet, and relaxed. Thank you, Hugo + Michelle for inviting me into your home and letting me cuddle your beautiful new babe.

Jack + Kayla | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

This wedding was absolutely stunning! The Cathedral in Covington is seriously the most beautiful church I’ve been in. Those stained glass windows! WOW!!! Also, I should tell you that Anderson Pavilion is an amazing venue with some of the best food I’ve ever been served at a wedding. Their staff is so incredibly helpful and kind.

Ok, back to Jack + Kayla. It’s so fun to see the way they love each other. They’re silly, fun, and basically adorable. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day, everything was perfect.

Nathan + Abby + Zion + River + Clover | Cincinnati Lifestyle Family Photographer

Oh my goodness, I cannot get enough of Miss Clover Faye. She’s so sweet and was sleepy and giving me adorable little grins for their whole session. This sweet family is so close to my heart. Not only do I get to do life with them, but they also have trusted me to capture newborn photos of all three of their beautiful babies. I love you guys so much! I can’t wait kiss that baby again.

Dan + Kayla + William | Cincinnati Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

Kayla, I’m sorry for making you cry several times this week, I can’t promise it won’t happen again right now. William is such a sweet, happy little guy. He stayed awake nearly our whole session and didn’t cry once. I am looking forward to watching him grow and seeing the ways his little life brings glory to God. Love you guys so much!

Ryan + Beth | Jamaica Wedding Photographer

Ryan + Beth renewed their vows in Jamaica and celebrated 10 years of marriage. Couples Resorts was so great to work with and did a beautiful job setting up the ceremony and a little reception for the 4 of us. Ryan + Beth asked us to stand next to the during the ceremony so all of these shots were right after. As I said last week, I didn’t expect to cry but I totally teared up (and Ryan called me out on it) during their vows. They’ve faced quite a fewĀ difficulties in the last 10 years and it has been such and encouragement to me to see them walk through it all with grace and trust in God. I love you both so much!

Aaron + Amanda + Rowan | Cincinnati Family Photographer

One of the really cool job perks of being a family photographer is watching babies grow into toddlers and, eventually, into big kids.Ā It’s such a privilege when families come back to me and trust me again and again with capturing these milestones. I can’t believe it has already been a year since Rowan’s newborn session, time just keeps speeding up on me.

Hugo + Michelle + Baby Girl | Cincinnati Maternity Photographer

Sometimes when I meet people I’m like, “Ohmygosh, will you be my best friend?” No, joke these two (three!) humans are so funny and genuine I just want to hang out with them. Their kid is going to be extra cool and extra loved. We laugh SO much during our session and just had a blast getting to know each other. Here’s to hoping I’m in town when she has this sweet baby girl so I can come photograph her adorable little face at the hospital.

Side note: HOLY COW Michelle is gorgeous and all belly at 8 months prego.

Aubrey + Jaxson | Cincinnati Family Photography

I love these babies so much. I’ve said it a hundred times but HOLY PHOTOGENIC! These two have the prettiest eyeballs and Aubrey has been working the camera since she was a wee babe. Seriously,Ā they need to stop growing up, it’s insane.

Oliver’s Last Chemo | Cincinnati Family Photographer

In November of last year Oliver was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. Many would call this every parent’s nightmare. I watched as Richie and Suzi dealt through a whole range of emotions and settled on determination. They were determined not to let this break them. Determined to fight with their son. Determined to stand up and be a voice for childhood cancer. Most of all, determined that, NO MATTER WHAT, God would be glorified through their son and through their journey. They have been an incredible testament of faith and hope to me. There is no where I would have rather been last Saturday than at Children’s documenting Oliver’s last round of chemo.

This boy. He’s so sweet and friendly to everyone he meets. As you can tell, chemo doesn’t keep him down for long. We ran the hallways and laughed a lot at this silly guy. If you want to follow along his journey head over toĀ their Facebook page and give them a follow.
