I love these babies so much. I’ve said it a hundred times but HOLY PHOTOGENIC! These two have the prettiest eyeballs and Aubrey has been working the camera since she was a wee babe. Seriously, they need to stop growing up, it’s insane.
In November of last year Oliver was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer called Neuroblastoma. Many would call this every parent’s nightmare. I watched as Richie and Suzi dealt through a whole range of emotions and settled on determination. They were determined not to let this break them. Determined to fight with their son. Determined to stand up and be a voice for childhood cancer. Most of all, determined that, NO MATTER WHAT, God would be glorified through their son and through their journey. They have been an incredible testament of faith and hope to me. There is no where I would have rather been last Saturday than at Children’s documenting Oliver’s last round of chemo.
This boy. He’s so sweet and friendly to everyone he meets. As you can tell, chemo doesn’t keep him down for long. We ran the hallways and laughed a lot at this silly guy. If you want to follow along his journey head over to their Facebook page and give them a follow.
There are people in your life that you quickly realize are “your people” when you meet them. These are my people. Compared to the 33 years of my life, I haven’t even known them at long. (3 years) But it seems like forever. I loved the two of them so much already but THEN they brought this sweet little guy into the world and their family just grew more precious to me. I am so hyped to shoot a BUNCH of weddings with Jaz this year and to go exploring Havasu Falls with them next year!! IT’S GONNA BE SO FUNNNNN!! Love you bunches, fam.

The Meyer Family has had A LOT of milestones in the last year and a half! I have photographed 2 of Joey’s brother’s weddings (here + here), his brand new niece, and now this sweet babe! I am so so incredibly grateful for families who invest in my work over and over again. Colton Joseph was just a smushiest little cuddle biscuit ever. He was so sweet and content the whole time, even though I was totally bugging him. You guys made a real cute baby!! Side note: How incredibly gorgeous is this mama!? Wow, Missy with the good hair, amiright?
The Weimer family is just as sweet as can be. I had such a great time getting to know each of them + capturing their different personalities. I’m SOOOOO happy to be shooting outdoors again. Spring, you are incredibly welcome here in Ohio. Please stick around.
Jen + I have been trying to shoot their family session since November! A scheduling conflict, then rain, and then a black eye all pushed back the session until March, but we finally got it done! I’m sitting here this morning looking at snow on the ground and wishing it was as warm as this beautiful day last week. I’m so happy it worked out and I got to meet this adorable family.
Logan + Nolan are quite a pair. One is spunky and the other a little more reserved. One was cheesing for the camera and the other one hiding from me. We had so much fun exploring at Rowe Arboretum!
This maternity shoot was so much fun. You know it’s going to be a good one when you spend the better portion of your session laughing at each other. Adrienne tried to pretend like she was forgot how to model but she SLAYED. Congratulations, gorgeous mama. I can’t wait to see your little guy.
Don’t get any funny ideas here… I don’t USUALLY let the parents get by without hopping in for a few photos. BUT since I get to photograph these 3 sweet girls a few times a year, I’ll allow it just this once. SIDE BAR: PARENTS… GET IN THE PICTURES! Ok I’m done. Nora, Shane, + Lola are my nieces! They are stinking adorable and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them and their adorable personalities just like everyone who knows them.
Nora is such a helper, she’s sweet, once in a while sassy, and a little shy until she gets to know you.
Shane is our spunky, sneaky, little cuddler. Don’t let her sweet smile + adorable locks fool you, I’m pretty sure she could hold her own in a fight if push comes to shove.
And Lola Quinn (AKA Quinny), only time will tell if she’s more like her oldest sister or her younger sister, but we’re betting she will have some of the spunk and sass from each of them. She is a very determined one year old and rounds out the bunch so well!

You guys. I’m kind of obsessed with this family. I cannot get enough of this new big brother, Maverick. He was so sweet and so excited about his new baby. He couldn’t hold his hugs back from his momma’s neck either. Katie is a very talented florist (go check out Katie’s Blooms), a studio mate of mine, and a beautiful human. Congratulations, little family, I just love you all so much!
I’m not sure if you recognize Ryan + Hannah but, if you’ve been around here for any amount of time your should. I photographed their engagement session, their wedding, and their maternity session (with a few other sessions in between). And NOW their sweet baby boy is here!!! Oliver didn’t even think about sleeping during his newborn session, he was soooo alert and such a calm little guy. Congratulations, you two!
