Bradley + Joanna | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

I feel like I said all the sentimental aunt-things in their engagement blog post. But maybe I can squeeze in just a few more.

Bradley, I’m so incredibly proud of the man you have become. I don’t get to take much credit for it but I like to think those toddler years spent watching Barney with me helped, and maybe the teenage years you spent in our youth group. But, lets be honest, most of the maturing and growing up you’ve done was by God’s grace and because of your compassion and love for others.

Joanna, I know I already sent you this text but the photo of your sister hugging you makes me weep. She + I sat and had many discussions and prayed for you so many times. I’m just so incredibly grateful for where you are now and how far you’ve come. I love you both so much and I’m so happy I got to be a part of your big day.

Ps. I’m going to try not to overload you on the boat pictures but….. HELLO EPIC! Shout out to Katie’s Blooms for flowering them and Lyndsay from Lake Lyndsay for supplying that gorgeous boat. Without you my boat-dreams wouldn’t have come true!

Michael + Natalie | Portland Wedding Photography

When Natalie wrote to me about their intimate, family-centered, Portland wedding I was so excited!! They are adorably and deeply in love. Their big day was full of emotions and personal touches that I was so honored to capture. Also, I’d just like to mention that Michael’s best man was his dad, HIS DAD!! Could they be any cuter??

Side note: Are you eloping or not located in Cincinnati? I happily travel!!

Danny + Chelsea | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Chelsea was REALLY hoping for snow on her wedding day. Instead, we got rain. SO MUCH RAIN. I have to tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. The rain added something beautiful and special to their photos. I ADORE a bride who is down for anything, even getting her dress soaked before the ceremony. While we’re on the subject of her dress… HOLY WOW! Her groom’s reaction says it all. This dress was made for Chelsea. Congratulations, you two, your day was a perfect representation of both of you… heart-felt, sooo fun, and stunning!

Taylor + Steve | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago I shot my very first styled shoot. I’ve seen plenty of other styled shoots but the thing that really drew me into this one was the theme. Evergreen!! I am obsessed with greenery. Give me all the green weddings! So, yeah, I was totally in. Christine did an amazing job organizing this beautiful shoot and all of the vendors (listed at the bottom) were incredible. If you are a future bride and you are reading this, GO TO THEIR INSTAGRAMS! You’ll be amazed by the talent that was represented. Ok ok. enough rambling you’re here for the pretty!

Tyler + Baihley | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

Tyler + Baihley’s wedding was my very last wedding of the year. It was also one of the hardest weddings to blog. Not for lack of beautiful shots, quite the opposite. I’ve tried SO SO SO hard to narrow this down but I can’t seem to take any more photos out because I love their love. So many times during their day they were surrounded by tons of people but I’m not sure they even knew. It was just the two of them all day long. In their own little “love bubble”.

A few things I should mention… Tyler is a photographer and scoped out the church’s dilapidated balcony for their first look. SERIOUSLY?? GORGEOUS! Also, the park we did photos at is in my neck of the woods, and I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity and the perfect couple to use it. NAILED IT!!

Jared + Stephanie | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Wow! Can we just take a second and talk about how beautiful this wedding was and how stinking gorgeous this couple is? Everything about their day was absolutely lovely. Stephanie has, literally, the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen! I mean, talk about pearly whites!! The joy and love that exuded from them during their big day was tangible and perfect. And let’s not forget Jared’s daughter Emma, she might be my spirit animal…  she was running, she was laughing, she was crying tears of joy, and she was dabbing. What else could you ask for?

Guys… sobbing! When asked what was wrong, 6 year old Emma responded, “I’m just happy!”

Jake + Becca | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

When I shared Jake + Becca’s sneak peek the day after their wedding I mentioned how sweet they were. Becca was so chill and even when things didn’t go perfectly she had a, “No big deal, we will fix it!” kind of attitude. Jake + Becca thought so much of the other people surrounding them on their big day. They said hello to strangers and told them they “hoped they had a great life” while we were taking wedding portraits. It’s so refreshing to witness two people who genuinely care about others and are constantly thinking about them, even on a day that is “supposed” to be all about you! You guys are awesome and I’m so incredibly honored I got to be a part of your beautiful day!

Jordan + Shelbey | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

When you quote Homestar Runner to a bride + groom and they quote it right back. That’s when you know these are your kind of people. Thanks for knowing obscure online cartoon references from 2002, you guys are the best! Also, can we just talk about how stinking adorable every little detail is? And Shelbey’s DRESS?!?! Are you serious right now?

Dustin + Nicole | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Dustin + Nicole adore dogs, horses, the country, and each other. I think it’s so beautiful that they were able to incorporate so many things and people that they cherish into their special day. But their love for each other is the element that stood out most evidently to all of us in attendance. They are both beautiful humans inside & out and we were honored to be a part of this day that will forever be one of the most important day’s of their lives.

Shout out to all the INCREDIBLE vendor’s!

Elliot + Liz | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Elliot + Liz are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever met. They are both super talented artists and the fact that they trusted me with their big day is such an honor. Liz had every single detail planned and organized to a T and everything went so smoothly and perfectly because of it. Thank you both so much for allowing me to capture your lovely day! I hope you enjoy this little teaser of what’s to come!
