Lois is my mom’s first cousin, so technically my second. Growing up Ron & Lois were more like an aunt and uncle to me. I basically spent all of my adolescent summers in their home. Katie and I always had the same group of friends growing up but it wasn’t until I was in high school that I really began to cherish the friendship we had. She’s the very best cousint-friend a girl could as for. (Yes, I said cousint. No, it’s not a typo). And Adam… Adam was the little pesky brother I never had who has grown into an awesome and brilliant man of God. I could go on about every single one of these children & spouses because they each hold a special part of my heart. I am so honored to call all of these humans family, but more closely, friends.
