Jordan + Mikala | Transept OTR Wedding Photographer

When Mikala and Jordan met with me for the first time they told me natural, candid photos and TONS of details were so important to them. HELLO DREAM CLIENTS! Not only are they adorable and madly in love with each other but they are also madly in love with Jesus and met in youth group. They are both artists (music & design) and were totally up for anything. Let me just say, when you trust your photographer with your timeline and with location, and you are given a stinking perfect day… your photos are going to be INCREDIBLE!

You guys are the best, Congratulations!

Jillian Class of 2019 | Taft Art Museum Senior Photographer

It’s so great when your clients trust you completely! I’ve been suggesting this location to clients left an right and finally got someone to tae me up on the offer! The Taft Art Museum has a crazy cool lawn installment by artist, Patrick Dougherty. I totally dig how these turned out, it helps that Jillian is stunning and so incredibly sweet! I can’t wait to see more of your adventures (hopefully to Australia!) next year.

Nick + Stef | Cincinnati Engagement Photographer Roebling Bridge

What did I tell you last week about my 2019 couples? ADORABLE!! We had so much fun downtown Cincinnati last week… running out into traffic and dancing in front of random restaurants. Nick + Stef were down for anything, even laying in grass with tons of people walking by telling them how cute they were. Cincinnati is always good for that! If you’re ever in need of encouragement just dress up and take a photographer with you in OTR, people will infallibly stop to tell you how awesome you look! Our city is the greatest and so are these two. I’m so excited to hang out with you guys again and capture your beautiful wedding next October.

Jalon | Cincinnati Senior Photographer OTR

Jalon’s little brother, Jonas is in my daughter’s class at school. The first time I met this family I did that weird thing that all photographer’s do and thought to myself, “Is it creepy to ask this gorgeous family if I can photograph them?” I refrained because I think it’s awkward. So, when Bekah reached out to me to take Jalon’s senior photos and a few family photos I was elated!! I mean, seriously, how is every single person in this family so stinking beautiful? To top it off they are all so sweet and polite.

Jalon absolutely rocked his session with none of the usual guy’s senior photo awkwardness. GQ, much?

Jonathan + Kelly + Quinn + Emilia | Cincinnati Family Photographer Washington Park

Let’s just put this out there… a stormy day (hello lightning during our session!) + a teething 1 year old + a high energy, TONS OF FUN little guy does not always equal a great session. But let me tell you, I ADORE these images. They are real and they are full of interaction and energy. We succeeded in getting some great family photos and portraits of Emmy for her 1st birthday shoot and then she pretty much decided she was over it. So, we went with the flow! Whatever Emilia and Quinn wanted to do, I captured it. And I think Jon + Kelly will look back on these photos and remember them exactly as they were at this age, and THAT, my friends, is my ultimate goal. To take you back to this exact day; how it felt, how it sounded, and the love that surrounded you.

Someone please tell me if this isn’t the best meme-worth photo ever?

Maggie | Senior Photographer | Downtown Cincinnati OTR

It was such a privilege to hang out with Maggie (along with her mom and sister) last week. All three of them are so sweet and down for anything! We headed downtown for some fun shots around Cincinnati. I adore taking senior portraits in OTR, I always find new spots + I enjoy revisiting ones that have always produced great light! WOWZA!! Isn’t Maggie beautiful?

WARNING: OVER-BLOGGING IN PROGRESS

Yeaahhhhh, I tried really hard to narrow this down to fewer images but it’s SO HARD when you have a day as beautiful as this one. When my husband and I were youth pastors Ashley was in our youth group. Ashley was one of the only kids we were privileged to have in the youth group for all 6 years. She has always been hilarious, hard-working, and caring. I was so honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding & my husband to officiate. (heyyy hottie husband).

We love you guys so much! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your day.

Zach + Jenesis | Cincinnati Family Photographer

A little over a year ago I stepped out of my comfort zone and attended a gathering of Cincinnati creatives through The Rising Tide. I’m so incredibly glad I did. That night I met so many talented and beautiful people. One of them was Jenesis. She is the artist behind Pied Paper Goods and she’s one of the kindest humans I’ve met. Zach, Jenesis, and a few other friends also opened up an AMAZING coffee shop in my neighborhood last year called Brick Coffee. (Go check it out, it’s seriously YUM!). Just to round off all the things on their plate; he’s a teacher, she’s a nanny and a worship pastor. Seriously guys, way to make us all seem totally lazy. And if you talk to either one of them they are willing to sacrifice what little time they have left to love on other people. Thank you both for being a great example of the sacrificial love of Christ. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!

Jack + Kayla | Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

This wedding was absolutely stunning! The Cathedral in Covington is seriously the most beautiful church I’ve been in. Those stained glass windows! WOW!!! Also, I should tell you that Anderson Pavilion is an amazing venue with some of the best food I’ve ever been served at a wedding. Their staff is so incredibly helpful and kind.

Ok, back to Jack + Kayla. It’s so fun to see the way they love each other. They’re silly, fun, and basically adorable. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day, everything was perfect.
