Gabbard Family | Cincinnati Family Photographer

Jen + I have been trying to shoot their family session since November! A scheduling conflict, then rain, and then a black eye all pushed back the session until March, but we finally got it done! I’m sitting here this morning looking at snow on the ground and wishing it was as warm as this beautiful day last week. I’m so happy it worked out and I got to meet this adorable family.

Logan + Nolan are quite a pair. One is spunky and the other a little more reserved. One was cheesing for the camera and the other one hiding from me. We had so much fun exploring at Rowe Arboretum!

Michael + Natalie | Portland Wedding Photography

When Natalie wrote to me about their intimate, family-centered, Portland wedding I was so excited!! They are adorably and deeply in love. Their big day was full of emotions and personal touches that I was so honored to capture. Also, I’d just like to mention that Michael’s best man was his dad, HIS DAD!! Could they be any cuter??

Danny + Chelsea | Cincinnati Wedding Photography

Chelsea was REALLY hoping for snow on her wedding day. Instead, we got rain. SO MUCH RAIN. I have to tell you, I wasn’t disappointed. The rain added something beautiful and special to their photos. I ADORE a bride who is down for anything, even getting her dress soaked before the ceremony. While we’re on the subject of her dress… HOLY WOW! Her groom’s reaction says it all. This dress was made for Chelsea. Congratulations, you two, your day was a perfect representation of both of you… heart-felt, sooo fun, and stunning!

Oliver Anthony | Cincinnati Newborn Photographer

I’m not sure if you recognize Ryan + Hannah but, if you’ve been around here for any amount of time your should. I photographed their engagement session, their wedding, and their maternity session (with a few other sessions in between). And NOW their sweet baby boy is here!!! Oliver didn’t even think about sleeping during his newborn session, he was soooo alert and such a calm little guy. Congratulations, you two!

Sergio + Leah + Mila | Cincinnati Family Photographer

How is Mila turning one already? I was seriously just shooting her newborn session yesterday. Time is mean. I love these three humans so so much. Leah & Sergio are some of the most precious people I know. If you ever need a hug, Leah is your girl. She gives the best hugs on the planet. In fact, her whole family are just great huggers. Is that a weird compliment? Well either way, its true. I can already tell, Miss Mila is going to follow in those footsteps with her sweetness too! Happy Birthday, Pumpkin Pie I hope you get all the cake and lovins!

Jon + Katy | Cincinnati Maternity Photographer

When I say I have never laughed so hard at a session it is no exaggeration. From panthers to My Best Friend’s Wedding… these two just get me. You’ll see below that we had a hard time keeping a straight face through this whole session and I couldn’t be happier about it. I adore when couples & families interact with each other comfortably in front of the camera and Jon + Katy definitely did. They are going to make amazing parents to this sweet baby girl! I can’t wait to find out her name in a few short weeks.

 Something may have been said about Jon being a prospector.

River Grace | Cincinnati Family Photographer

You know that song on Frozen, “For The First Time In Forever”? I’m literally singing that as I blog this session because I feel like its be AGES since I’ve blogged. In the last month I’ve shot 7 headshot sessions, and a styled shoot, and hosted a Beginners Photography Class. It’s been so busy and so fun!

It was nice to be back to shooting families. Sweet River Grace came to my studio for her 1 year session and we snuck her momma in for a few photos as well. I’m so glad we grabbed her sling for the last couple, they are absolutely my favorites!! When we shot her big brother’s one year session Abby was pregnant with River and now for River’s one year session she pregnant with a new baby!! We can’t wait to find out if its a boy or a girl next week. Love this precious family and I’m so excited to meet your new babe.

Hazel June | Cincinnati Fresh 48 Photographer

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sweet family. Lauren is an insanely talented photographer, she captured my own family photos last year AND she’s one of my studio mates. So, yeah, they’re a special family to me. Can you even look at sweet Hazel June without melting into a big puddle of mush? I sure can’t. She’s so stinking gorgeous.

While I was there to capture their sweet new family of four, big brother Everett came to meet his baby sister for the first time. As with most toddlers, he wasn’t immediately smitten with her like we were. But he came around… those kisses may have come with promises to go see his grandparent’s chickens.
