I met Hannah last year at my senior ambassador photo shoot. My niece Grace, and Hannah are good friends, they are both graduating this Fall! (Whhattt? I’m getting old.) I adore this sweet, artsy, free-spirited girl. You can’t help but smile when you’re around her. She’s full of joy and SO STINKING ADORABLE!! As you’ll see by the last picture, she comes by her beauty honestly. It was so fun to hang out with you both and I can’t wait to see how Jesus uses you in this next part of your life.
Olivia is absolutely stunning! It was no surprise to me either because I shot her sister’s senior pictures 2 years ago. Beautiful genes obviously run strong in this family! Shout out to my girl Sarah Crain for always doing an amazing job on hair & make up for my lovely senior girls.
Grace Kennedy, Gracie Lu Who, Bagel Belly… my baby niece is a senior. I have loved this girl her whole life. Gracie is one of the funniest, and most caring humans I know. She feels deeply and loves fiercely. She’s 17 and still sits on her dads lap, still wraps her arms around her momma, and holds her friend’s hand as they walk down the street. Her intense love isn’t limited to people though, she’s also very smart and hopes to start veterinary school next year. I’m super proud of her but also feeling older today than usual. Stop growing up, Lu. Your momma and I will just be at home crying today if you need us.

Eric + Robbin are both from out of town. They’re getting married in Mississippi next year but, since they met and fell in love in Cincinnati, they wanted to capture their engagement photos in the city. As a photographer, sometimes you meet a new couple and you just click! I knew as soon as we sat down for coffee a few months ago that Jake + Becca + I were going to be a great team! I dig their style and their adorable relationship. They are so silly and fun together and totally comfortable with each other. I can’t wait to photograph their big day this Fall, it’s going to be magical!!

I have been looking forward to this wedding for over a year, not just because I knew it would be beautiful but because of these two humans. Scott + Erika. I’m at a loss for words because its hard to explain what they mean to me. You see, they are two of the most genuine, Jesus-loving people I know. They’ve sacrificed their own desires to glorify King Jesus. I’m not saying I was crying behind my camera during their handwritten vows, but I’m not saying I wasn’t either. I MIIIGHT have even cried when Studio 58 Media released their video a few days ago too. My best friend/cousin and her lovely family are on the blog again. I have been photographing them since Addie (their oldest) was born. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Rahmes’.
Alex + Morgan are my kind of couple. They’re up for anything! The day of their engagement session was calling for rain all week and Morgan’s response was, “Let’s embrace the rain!” Well, it ended up not being rainy but they did explore a new (kind of muddy) garden, climb over a railing to get to this bridge, and maybe even face some fears about spiders and snakes to get these beautiful shots. Totally worth it!! You guys are amazing and I can’t wait to photograph your big day later this Summer. I can already tell its going to be a chill, go with the flow, kind of day.

Had you ever met someone that you instantly knew you were going to love? That’s how I felt with Jazmine… friendship at first sight. And I wasn’t wrong. She is one of those people that you could vacation with. You know, how you have lots of friends that you love, and plenty that you’d have a sleepover with, but only a few that you’d want to go on an extended trip with? This girl. And I’m pretty certain my husband feels the same way about Jesse. These are just lovely humans. Oh, I forgot to mention that I’ve been mentoring Jazmine! If you’re getting married this year and I’m shooting your wedding chances are, you’ll get to meet her! Unless it’s in October because BABY BOWMAN is coming this fall!! Congratulations, you two I love you both to the moon!
